Backup and restore data allows you to save a copy of your data and store it securely on our server. Backups should be carried out on a regular basis to ensure you have a recovery point in the unlikely event of data being input incorrectly.
iTRACK will automatically run a backup every week, and additionally whenever you import a file (e.g. a CTF) into the system.
Automatic backups are stored for 8 weeks and cannot be deleted by the user. Those taken by the user can be deleted by clicking the red x next to the file name, however this should be done with care.
To create a backup of your iTRACK data, go to the Administration section of the left-hand menu bar and click on Backup / Restore Data.
Click Backup Database Now. You will see a message 'YOUR DATABASE WAS BACKED UP SUCCESSFULLY AS OF...' with a date and time stamp.
Backup Archive
This table will give you a list of ALL the backup files you have stored on our server.
You can Restore any of these files at any time if you need to return to any previous data. You can also delete any old backup files at any time, however this action CANNOT be undone and will be COMPLETELY removed from our servers.
Restore a Backup
To restore any backup, click on any of the filename to restore your database to that point in time.
It is worth noting that iTRACK will run an automatic backup before it restores your data. This is so that we can get your data back if you were to restore using the incorrect file.
