The Group Report page allows you to view your progress and attainment data for all pupils, across all year groups, on a single page. This is especially useful when analysing particular groups of children like SEND or pupil premium. It also helps provide the context to your data, as you can see which pupils contain which attributes, and this information may therefore allow you to implement the correct interventions.
Simply go to the Group Report page under the 'School Analysis' sub-heading in the 'KS1-3' section of the left-hand menu, and fill out the following criteria:
- Subject: Select the subject you wish to view.
- Include Leavers: This will default to say 'no'. Change it to 'yes' if you wish to include the children marked as leavers in your data.
- Press Go.
How the Page Works
Please see the below key for how to better understand how the page works. If the image is too small, you can use the attachment at the bottom of this article to download the full size image.
1) Open Filters
You can use this button to filter all the data by any of your Attributes, which is really useful for analysing your key groups of children across the whole school on 1 page. The mandatory, nationally recognised groups are under the 'Core Filters' tab, and any set up by your school will be under 'School Filters.
2) Attribute Selection
Here you can select which attribute(s) information you would like displayed in the table, by simply clicking the button(s) and pressing 'go'. Any attribute from the list highlighted in purple will appear as a column below, containing a tick where the child is, and a cross where the child is not said attribute
3) Show Yearly Progress
Here you can toggle the progress icons in and out of your data table.
4) Show Entry Date
Here you can toggle the entry date column in and out of your data table.
5) Show Yearly Group
Here you can toggle the year group column in and out of your data table.
6) Note Pad
If you click the little 'note pad' icon then an unlimited character textbox will pop up. This will stay with the pupil all the way through school and can be used for any purpose the school sees fit. Documents can be uploaded using the ‘Upload notes files’ link (Word/Excel/PDF/Images), with a maximum of 20 files per child. Once you have made your notes, click the save button and icon will change to 'look like it contains text, indicating that the child has notes.
7) Individual Pupil Progress Chart
If you click the little 'chart' icon, you will be taken to the individual pupil's progress chart. This can also be sent direct to parents via our parent portal, instructions for which can be found here.
8) Custom Attributes Row
Here you can find what percentage of your pupils are each of your attributes, so in the above example we can see that 6% of my pupils across the whole school are on the SEND register.
9) Progress Percentages
All of your progress percentages can be found at the bottom of the data table. Please note that this will likely require some scrolling.
10) Attainment Percentages
All of your progress percentages can be found at the very bottom of the page under the data table. Please note that this will also likely require some scrolling.
