The Combined Monitoring page provides a detailed breakdown of the Reading, Writing and Maths data for an individual cohort.
To locate this page, click on the Combined Monitoring tab under the 'Cohort Analysis' sub-heading in the 'KS-KS3' section of the left-hand menu, then fill out the following criteria:
- Year Group: Select the cohort for which you wish to view the data.
- Assessment Year: Select the year of data you wish to analyse, you can look back historically here.
- Assessment No.: Select the assessment point you wish to view.
- Floor Standard: Select the the standard you expect a 'national standard' child to be working at for the time of year you are viewing. If viewing at the end of the year, the floor standard should be 'secure'.
- Press Go.
How the Page Works
Below is a key which explains how this page works, and how to get the most out of your data:
Please note: if you find the image too small, you can view it as an attachment at the bottom of this article.
1) Open Filters
You can use this button to filter all the data tables by any of your Attributes, which is really useful for analysing your key groups of children. The mandatory, nationally recognised groups are under the 'Core Filters' tab, and any set up by your school will be under 'School Filters'.
2) Select Your Floor Standard
Here you must select the appropriate floor standard for the time of year you are viewing. This is useful for calculating 'on-track' pupils in Autumn and Spring.
3) Show/Hide Toggle Buttons
By using these toggles, you can either include or exclude SPAG, EYFS Outcomes, KS1 SS/TA Results, and any Test Score's you have entered on the 'Enter Pupil Results' page. When turned on/off, you will notice all the various columns appear/disappear from the page:
You can have any combination of them turned on at any time, but be aware the page may get a little wide. In this instance, you can use the '3 dashes' at the top left-hand side next to the iTRACK logo, to collapse the menu and allow for more data to be displayed. You can also press 'ctrl +' and/or 'ctrl -' to zoom in/out until it fits.
4) Breakdown of Each Subject
By clicking on the name of any subject in the grey header, you will see the table expand to include all recorded data for that subject, both 'Units of Study' and any 'Additional Assessments' you have enabled:
5) Export to Excel
If you wish to analyse this data further, you can click the ‘Export to Excel’ button to generate an Excel file containing this data.
6) Subject Information
You will see a comprehensive view of all the relevant subject information, for each of the subjects. This will include their data from 'Enter Pupil Results', whether they met your floor standard or not, plus any other toggles you have turned on (see point 3 above).
7) Sort Arrows
By clicking the arrow, it will sort your pupils into ascending order and then descending order if you click the other arrow. This is great for getting your intervention groups and higher attainers at either end of the table. This process can be repeated for any column heading, anywhere in iTRACK you see the 'arrows' symbol.
8) Note Pad
If you click the little 'speech bubble' icon, an unlimited character textbox will pop up. This will stay with the pupil all the way through school and can be used for any purpose the school sees fit. Documents can be uploaded using the ‘upload notes files’ link (Word/Excel/PDF/Images), with a maximum of 20 files per child. Once you have made your notes, click the save button and icon will change to 'look like it contains text', indicating that the child has notes.
9) Individual Pupil Progress Chart
If you click the little 'chart' icon, you will be taken to the individual pupil's progress chart. This can also be sent direct to parents via our parent portal, instructions for which can be found here.
10) Floor Standard Met - Yes/No
You will see a green 'Yes' for those who have met your assigned floor standard in all the subjects, and a 'No' for those that haven't. Your percentages for this are below the table, which have also been amalgamated onto the Combined Dashboard for you.
11) Percentages
You will find all your basic percentages calculated for you underneath the table. It is worth noting that you may be required to scroll down to find this information, and your 'floor standard met' percentages are located at the bottom right-hand side.
