The GLD Dashboard page gives you all the headline statistics for your GLD at the end of Reception, as well as your 'on track for GLD' figures for any EYFS cohort throughout the year.
To locate this page, click on the 'GLD Dashboard' tab in the 'Foundation Stage' section on the left-hand menu, and fill out the following criteria:
1. Year: select any academic year you wish to view, going back historically as far as you require.
2. Term/Baseline: select which assessment point of data you wish to view.
3. SHOW ATTRIBUTES: click this purple button to select up to 5 attributes you wish to compare. Simply select the ones you want from the 'AVAILABLE ATTRIBUTES' column on the left, then ensure it is going to make the correct comparison from the 'SELECTED ATTRIBUTES' column on the right.
4. SHOW STANDARDS: click this purple button to select the appropriate floor standard for each EYFS cohort, for the time of year you are viewing, ie. where you want iTRACK to 'draw the line' for GLD/on track.
Please note this may vary depending on your setup, so please contact your Education Consultant if you require assistance.
5. Press Go
You will now be presented with your GLD / on track parentages and pupil numbers for each of your EYFS cohorts, broken down into all your selected groups, with columns for each of the different GLD's.
How the GLD Dashboard Works
To get the most out of the data on your dashboard, you can use the following key:
1) Open Filters
You can use this button to filter all the data tables by any of your Attributes, which is useful for cross-referencing groups. For example, if you click to open your filters and were to select your Pupil Premium children, then the 'Boys v Girls' table would represent your 'Pupil Premium Boys v Pupil Premium Girls'.
2) Table Toggle
By clicking this button in the 'Display Options' section, the data will swap from graph form into tabular format (as shown in the key above). Please note you can click on any cell within any table to reveal a list of the pupil names (see point 11 below).
3) Bar Chart Toggle
Clicking this button will swap the data from tabular form into Bar Charts. You can then revert to tables by clicking the ‘Display as table’ button. These graphs can either be expanded into your selected groups using the little 'down arrow' symbol, underneath, or downloaded using the purple 'DOWNLOAD IMAGE' button.
4) Pie Chart Toggle
Clicking this button will swap the data from tabular form into PIE Charts. You can then revert to tables by clicking the ‘Display as table’ button. These graphs can either be expanded into your selected groups using the little 'down arrow' symbol, underneath, or downloaded using the purple 'DOWNLOAD IMAGE' button.
5) Show Overall Column Toggle
The 4th column header is for 'overall GLD'. Which in iTRACK, includes Understanding the World, Expressive Arts & Design, and any other areas you may have customised to be included outside of the standard options. As these figures are NOT commonly required/reported, you can click this toggle switch to hide the column from the page.
6) Attribute & Standard Sections
As explained in steps 3 and 4 above, here you can adjust which groups you want to compare and edit the GLD standard. This can be done at any time by clicking the button(s), deselecting and then selecting your preference, then press go.
7) Export to Excel
If you wish to analyse this data further, you can click the ‘Export to Excel’ button to generate an Excel file containing this data. Each group will be presented on a separate worksheet within the file.
8) Your Selected Attributes for Comparison
Down the left-hand side, you will see all your selected attributes from the purple 'SHOW ATTRIBUTES' button, along with all the relevant data in each row.
9) Yes/No Columns
Each GLD header is split into 'Yes/No' columns. Yes means those pupils have achieved your floor standard or better in that area, No means they have not.
- At the the end of the year, you can think of the Yes as a 'Met' and No as 'Not Met' the ELG.
- Midway through the year, you can think of Yes as 'On track to reach GLD' and the No as 'Not on track'.
10) P, L & M GLD
Generally speaking, this is the most commonly required column when calculating GLD, as it includes all the Prime areas, Literacy, as well as Maths.
11) Pupil Pop Ups
Clicking on any of the cells containing data will reveal the names of the pupils contained in that that percentage/number. If you click the cell where it says ‘total’, you will see a list of all your pupils. If you click on the cell which says ‘Year 1n’, you will get a list of all your Year 1 pupils etc. This list is easily printable by clicking the ‘Print This Report’ link. To close it down, either click out of the pop up or use the X symbol.
