The purpose of Flight Path is to show the attainment and progress visually, for an individual pupil, across all subjects.
To access the Flight Path:
- Select "Flight Path" from the menu on the left-hand side

Select the assessment year

Select whether you would like to view progress from previous years

Select the pupil
This page then shows:
Chart 1: The first chart shows pupil attainment for any subjects the pupil has assessment data against. Each assessment point then shows the curriculum block A, S, E, N or D followed by the attainment % in brackets, for each subject.
On this chart for Callum, we can see that at "Baseline" in English he is working in the S curriculum and his attainment was 18%.
Chart 2: This shows a line graph of the attainment and progress of all subjects over the period selected.
You can hover over a subject on the right hand side then it will "highlight" on the line graph. You can also hover over each "dot" for each subject to see the subject, assessment period and attainment data.
Note: iASEND runs continuous data, so once data has been entered it carries forward to future assessment points. So if data has only been entered for baseline the data will appear to flat line across the entire year until further data in entered.
