Setting a pupil's targets
To initially set the target select baseline and any other assessment point. As with the pupil report page you have options for the curriculum you wish to show:
- Overall: includes all statements from A curriculum up to the D curriculum. Pupil Curriculum: includes statements form the pupil's assigned curriculum. A/S/E/N/D: includes statements for the select curriculum (The recommendation for this page is to select pupil curriculums)
NOTE: The targets set on this page are for an entire academic year. The option to select assessment periods allows you to see progress over time, but the target column is always referring to the entire academic year.
To set their target, click on the target grade and two drop downs appear:
You can then select the curriculum letter and the target % attainment. You can use the iASEND recommended progress measure to help set these, A 5%, S 7%, E, 10%, N 12%, D 15%.
The target grade will then show different colours based on progress against the target grade (this uses the second assessment point to compare):
- green - met/exceeded
- red - not met
-grey - target grade is on a different curriculum to where the pupil is working
