Here you can analyse in detail how each of your pupils got on in an individual test. Simply click on the Pupil Analysis page and fill out the following criteria:
- Select the Year Group your pupils are in.
- Select the Assessment Year, i.e. the academic year of information you wish to view.
- Select which Test you wish to analyse.
- Press GO.
Firstly, you will be presented with the following table, showing pupils who have taken the test and the total points achieved:
Click on the chart icon in the 'Analysis' column, in line with the pupil you want to view, and the page will change to display all the information/data for your pupil in that particular test.
The graphs at the top compare the total available marks for the test alongside your pupil's score and the national average:
You will then see a table breaking down their marks both overall and in each section, compared to the the total available:
At the bottom you'll see a breakdown of each question, the expected answer, your pupil's answer, whether or not it was correct, and how many marks it was worth:
It can be difficult to predict a pupil's response to questions, so if for any reason you think our correct/incorrect value is wrong, you can manually adjust this yourself using the edit pencil icon:
Use the pop up to alter the mark to correct/incorrect, press SAVE, and you will see the information has altered, with a person icon to indicate that it's been manually overridden.
Note: the data shown on this page will always be the most recent attempt at this test.
Key Features
1) Open Filters
When displaying the full cohort, you can use the tabs at the top to filter the data pupils any of your various attributes. The mandatory, nationally recognised groups are under the 'Core Filters' tab, and any set up by your school will be under 'School Filters'.
2) Export to Excel
When viewing the data for an individual pupil, you can click the ‘Export to Excel’ button to generate an Excel file containing this data.
