To enable your pupils to take a test, go to the Test Sessions tab on the left, and you will see a list of all the available test options.
The first thing to do is locate the test you wish them to take, by either using the search bar above the table to type in the code, if you know it, the test name or year group. You can also scroll through the list to find the one you want.
To make tests easier to locate, you may wish to increase the display limit by clicking show 100 entries above the table to the left, or use the sort buttons in the grey header to rank order the tests by any of the columns.
Accessing a Test: Method 1 - Directly Through iTRACK
Simply click on the test code you want your pupils to take, and a separate tab will open in your web browser:
You will then see that the test code is pre-populated with the children in the year group, so all that's left is for you or the pupil to type in your School Code (DfE number) and press Enter to begin:
Accessing a Test: Method 2 - Through ANY Web Browser
Using the hyperlink at the top of the page, in Test sessions, (https://awl.itrackeducation.com/timesTableTests) will take you straight to our test-taking site:
The following information will need to be filled out by yourself or your pupils:
- School Code (LEADfE number).
- Corresponding Test Code from the previous iTRACK page.
- Press Enter.
How a Pupil Takes a Test
- Your Pupil will first need to find and select their name.
- Then press the Start Test button.
They will then see the following instructions, and can press Start Test again to begin:
There is a total of 35 questions and they can either use their device's keyboard to type the answer directly in, or click in their answer using the on-screen number pad.
If no answer is given within the 6 second time limit, it will automatically move on to the next question. Once they have answered all the questions, your pupil must press Exit Test to complete their entry.
