To allocate activities to pupils/users, go to the Manage Activities tab on the left, and then select Distribute Activities.
To select an activity:
- Open the Assessment/Survey/Self author tab
- Open the relevant Year Group tab (If applicable)
- Click 'Select an Activity'
- Click on the Activity you wish to assign
Note: When the arrow turns red it indicates there are no more subcategories in the tab.
To create the test session:
- In the pop-up window, select the user type you wish to assign the activity to

- To select pupils individually by clicking 'select pupils', or click 'select all' to select all pupils from the year group Note: Any staff assigned a class on iTRACK will only be able to select those assigned pupils.
- To select teaching assistants, teacher or governors you can either select the user form the list or use the
button to add a new user
- To select parents an additional year group filter will appear allowing you to filter the select from list options
- Select all will allow all users on the list to be added to the assignee list
- When teaching assistant, teacher or governor is selected you have the option to send an email to participants. If "YES" is selected then the "Preview Email" option appears. When clicked a pop up of our default email appear, allowing you to make amendments which can then be saved or reset to default
- Select a start date (default is the date you set up the test)
- Select a due date (default is 7 days from the start date)
- Click 'Advanced Configuration' to further customise the test (see below)
The "Advanced Configuration" options will be slightly different depending on the user type selected:
- Group Label: Give the activity a specific name (default is the test name)
- Attempt Limit: Set the number attempts per user (default is 10)
- Style: Currently only "Default" is the only option
- Time Limit: Set a time limit in whole minutes (default is no limit)
- Allow Pupil Select: Changes the way pupils sign in. By enabling this option, pupils can select their name from the list (default is that pupils need to sign in using their unique user ID)
- Select "Distribute Activity"
You will then see a pop-up informing you your activity has been saved.
