Step 1: Select Manage Attributes. Please note: You must have Administrator access to view this option.
Step 2: Fill in the Attribute Name, Attribute Type and Default Value if applicable. Select ‘Add Attribute’ once completed.
Attribute Types:
There are two types of attributes
Yes/No: The Yes/No type allows you to say ‘Yes’ they are applicable to the specific filter or ‘No’ they are not. Here you could set the Default Value to ‘No’ and change it to ‘Yes’ if needed. Or vice versa.
Textbox: This is a free form textbox for you to input more detail. For example, the name of a class, group etc. When using the Textbox filter it is important to have the same grammar and spelling for each filter.
For example, Tommy and Callum are both having a Reading Intervention but due to the difference in capitalisation, they will appear as two different filters.
Step 3: Select ‘Pupil Details’. Please note all users can access this page.
Step 4: Click the Attributes at the top of the page. Select the attribute that you would like to assign to pupils
Step 5: Select the Year Group under the Attributes, and then select ‘Go’.
A box will appear with either Yes/No or textbox depending on the attribute type.
Fill in as necessary. This will save automatically and can be altered at any time.
